Over the past several years Deb and John have poured their hearts into curating Lake Arrowhead, CA vacation rentals where every stay feels like coming home to the mountains.
After years of trading city buzz for crisp alpine air on weekends, they finally made the leap to establishing a long-term presence in Lake Arrowhead. It originally started off with just one cozy A-frame home that was just perfect for anyone seeking a mountain getaway from the city. As they began seeing so many people enjoying their stays, Deb and John began acquiring other properties to their portfolio. Along they way Deb and John (ok, mostly Deb) mastered all the lake-pass logistics and mapped out the coziest coffee shops and restaurants to make your stay as memorable as possible.
Fast forward, they now have a beautiful collection of warm, inviting homes that you get to enjoy while vacationing in one of southern California’s best kept secrets – Lake Arrowhead.
“Superhost” is a designation that Airbnb awards to its most experienced and highly-rated hosts. It’s a badge of honor that signifies exceptional hospitality and reliability, helping guests feel more confident in their booking decision.
To earn and maintain Superhost status, a host must meet a set of strict criteria, which are evaluated every three months by Airbnb. These requirements are:
High Response Rate: A host must maintain a 90% or higher response rate to new guest inquiries within 24 hours.
Low Cancellation Rate: The host must have a cancellation rate of less than 1%, with exceptions for major disruptive events.
High Overall Rating: Hosts must maintain an overall rating of 4.8 stars or higher, based on guest reviews.
Sufficient Bookings: A host needs to have completed at least 10 stays in the past year, or at least 3 reservations totaling 100 nights or more.
While “Superhost” is a great way to signal quality and trustworthiness on the platform, it’s a very specific designation tied to the performance metrics of a single booking platform.
